Their clients include major online publishers, brands and interactive agencies.

Job Description:

As an overlay sales specialists for Online Market Research Opportunities, you will be responsible for working with our Client’s existing sales team to exploit market research/ focus group applications for major brands / Fortune 1000 accounts. You will be responsible for calling on and building relationships with senior executives within the Digital/Interactive Media divisions of their prospective customers both independently (focused on market research oriented opportunities) and in conjunction with other sales reps. This role is an incredible opportunity to be a part of an innovative organization that is enabling companies to build new and deeper relationships with their online communities and social media initiatives. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a high degree of self-motivation and independence, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment with other highly motivated individuals. This position is a senior level Individual Contributor role reporting to the Vice President of Sales. The ideal location for the candidate would be New York City.

Responsibilities:

• Exceed all revenue targets on a consistent bases
• Develop and execute territory and account plans
• Provide reporting (Salesforce.com) on activity and customer development
• Provide customer insight to Product Management and Engineering
• Work strategically with partners to develop new opportunities
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • 5 – 10 years of successful Business Sales experience with consistent over achievement
    Experience selling online market research / web based research methodologies
  • Experience selling internet and digital media solutions
  • Experience selling six and seven figure transactions
  • Strong relationships within one or more of our target markets
  • Goal oriented personality, committed to success and a strong work ethic
  • Experience and passion around current Internet technologies and Web 2.0 trends
  • Extremely detail oriented, comfortable working independently, extremely well organized, have the technical aptitude to learn new technologies
  • A proven consultative approach to selling, your clients trust and respect you
  • Previous sales experience in the social media space a plus
  • BA/BS, MBA a plus

Compensation:

• Salary is commensurate with experience and will be competitive. Compensation also includes commission and bonuses based on meeting sales targets
