Summary:

Our Client is currently looking for a Solutions Consultant reporting to the VP WW Sales. As a member of the Solutions Consultant team, the Solutions Consultant will serve as the primary technical liaison for enterprise pursuits and strategic accounts and will become a key influence on senior and executive leadership concerning product delivery and product strategy.  Through extensive pre-sales interaction, the candidate will be responsible for demonstrating in a comprehensive fashion how our Client’s platform can create tremendous value for the client and meets their business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate from first call through close of business including presentations, custom demonstrations and technical ownership of sales cycle and proposal
  • Conduct thorough needs-analyses in order to best understand customer needs as they relate to our solutions
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on product feature/functionality, including 3rd-party integrations
  • Communicate customer needs/requirements to product management
  • Respond to RFIs & RFPs
  • Accountable for success of solution and acceptance by customers

Qualifications:

  • Honors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Marketing
  • 5+ years experience in a presales/consulting environment preferably within the Software / CRM / Analytics industry
  • Executive presence with ability to lead brainstorming and interactive sessions with an audience of senior decision makers
  • Experience with major web analytics providers  a definite asset
  • Ability to work with cross-functional business and technical teams to provide quick and timely responses to prospects
  • Must have superior written and verbal communication skills, organization and time management skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate resourcefulness, motivation, initiative
  • Great communication & presentation skills
  • Willing to have frequent short stay travel
