As the industry leader, they work closely with our client and agency partners to build rich brand experiences and applications on social destinations such as Facebook, and, Twitter as well as on their clients’ homepage. They combine a full service social media offering combining strategy and technology to effectively leverage the power of social media.

They are seeking a Sales Leader for their East Coast presence. Responsibilities include managing a team of 5 business development managers in the NYC office and driving new revenue for our Client

Description:

Reporting to our Client’s VP of Business Development  the RVP of Sales will be responsible for Our Client sales on the East Coast of the US.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, develop and grow NY based sales team consisting of 5 Business Development Managers.
  • Work with teams to identify prospective clients, create territory plans, drive activity, motivate and close new busienss with Identify and  Fortune 500 interactive and brand managers as well as advertising agency executives focused on social media.
  • Generate new revenue to achieve or exceed quota for region
  • Manage pipeline
  • Deliver thought leadership to clients and prospects
  • Develop relationships with executive level decision makers at Fortune 500 brands and agencies in conjunction with business Development managers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of SaaS, Technology, and/or social media consulting sales
  • Knowledge of advertising technologies, analytics and interactive ad sales a plus
  • Great understanding of social media advertising
  • Strong contacts with consumer products marketers, ad agencies and promotional firms
  • Proven track record in managing high performance hunting oriented sales to exceed goals.
  • Exceptionally strong presentation skills
  • Must have a passion for social media technologies such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, etc.
