The Position
• Evangelizing our Client’s ad serving solution to your assigned channel and geography
• Continuously prospecting for new ad server revenue in conjunction with a Senior Business Development lead
• Lead research efforts to uncover prospecting opportunities for our Client’s platform
• Lead sales efforts through all aspects of the sales cycle including relationship initiation, negotiation, and closing for smaller to mid sized accounts
• Ideal candidate will have worked at an ad serving technology company (DoubleClick, 24/7, Zedo), or an ad technology firm (Operative, Pubmatic, Yieldex)
• Strong knowledge & familiarity with Publisher revenue models, ad serving, and online ad technologies focused on publisher
• Ability to quickly qualify potential clients
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong written, presenting & oral communication skills
• Ability to learn, take charge and deliver results with minimal supervision
• High energy, self motivated and passionate about working in a fast paced start up environment
• 1-4 years in a sales or business development role in the online industry, BA/BS degree required
• Interested in moving to a senior BD role, once successful in this role
