Our client provides a full range of innovative video conferencing and interactive telepresence products and environments backed by world class integration services. Their solutions are used globally by major corporations including Google, Land Rover, BP, Shell and BNP. They partner with major video integrators and solutions providers ranging from Tata to France Telecom, AVI-SPL and BT Conferencing. They are based in London, UK with US offices in San Francisco and New York City. They were founded in 2008.
The Position
The Sales Director will be responsible for the management and development of key global direct client and/or partner accounts. They will have experience in client relationship management and of developing and generating sales through those relationships. They will be expected to create new client accounts as well as developing existing ones. The role is based in York City there is an expectation that significant travel will be undertaken to service accounts. The incumbent will report directly to the Global VP of Sales based in San Mateo, CA.
Ideal Candidate Background
The ideal candidate will have worked with a technology provider that has executed transactions through the integrator or reseller channel but driven that business and has relationships directly with the end client. A knowledge of the Video or Interactive tele-presence space is beneficial but not an absolute requirement. Sample ideal backgrounds include previous work with a major AV or facilities oriented integrator, a video or collaboration technology provider or another provider that sells through multiple resellers /channels to targets the CTO or Facilities Management chain at \ Fortune 1000 firms.
