Our client is a marketing intelligence SaaS platform that delivers brands a real time, single view of marketing performance for collaborative insights and faster, more effective decisions.

The Role:

The senior vice president or vice president of sales is responsible for the development of the strategic plan and executive management of all sales and business development functions. This includes acquisition and retention, sales process execution, account management, business development, channel strategy, performance management, revenue attainment and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Attain revenue and profitability targets as set by the organization
  • Develop global sales strategy
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership on an organization-wide demand creation strategy, then oversee its execution
  • Lead the organization in the acquisition of new customers and the retention of existing customers
  • Develop the organization’s go-to-market strategy, channel strategy and coverage model
  • Oversee sales operations and sales enablement functions as they work to drive incremental sales productivity
  • Own the sales P&L
  • Oversee the creation of the organization’s sales compensation plan, policy and procedures, and then its administration
  • Work with finance and product management functions to develop pricing and discount policies and procedures
  • Participate in senior management sessions and executive-level projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required • Master’s degree/MBA a plus
  • 15 or more years of sales management experience
  • 10 or more years of global management experience
  • Strong knowledge in sales methodology
