Account Director – B2B sales and Marketing Sales Development Platform

This position is full-time and remote. Responsibilities:

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our client’s customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Answer customer questions about features, pricing and additional services
  • Act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned territory
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Suggest innovative ideas to increase sales and improve customer experience
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Report on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
  • Stay up-to-date with new features and product launches
  • Support sales team and clients with new features and product launches
  • Work closely with salespeople and other internal teams to meet individual and group sales quotas
  • Complete other tasks and duties as needed

Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field is a plus
  • 5+ years of proven work experience as a Senior Account Executive
  • 5+ years of proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Excellent listening/communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • An ability to grasp clients needs and to increase customer engagement
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce) is a plus
